My name is Niki Donovan, Founder and Executive Director of T.R.U.E Love Foundation. I created this nonprofit organization because I understand what it means to survive unimaginable circumstances and rebuild a life from the ground up.

My lived experiences with trauma, violence, addiction, and system involvement shaped the purpose behind this work. What once threatened to silence my voice ultimately became the catalyst for creating change.

Through my own healing journey, I came to understand that surviving a crisis is only the beginning. Many individuals are able to access emergency or short-term services, but far fewer supports exist for the long and often complicated process of rebuilding life afterward.

I founded T.R.U.E Love Foundation because I believe surviving a crisis should not mean navigating the rest of life alone. Too many people are left trying to rebuild after trauma without guidance, stability, or a strong support system

My goal is to help create a world where survivors are not only able to survive what they have been through, but are supported as they rebuild their lives with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
